San Francisco Giants pitcher Noah Lowry said his forearm is pain-free after a recent side session but that he is not all that close to returning to the mound.
He said he felt the ball was coming out of his hand well, but that he has no timetable for a possible return.
Its been an injury-plauged year for Lowry, who has had arm issues ever since the start of spring training.
With the Giants well out of the playoff race and in full rebuilding mode, rushing Lowry back to the hill for meaningless starts would be a horrible idea. |
