The Tennessee Titans have agreed to contracts with all of their 2008 draft picks except for the one that matters the most.
The team has still not come to an agreement with first-round draft pick running back Chris Johnson, who the team selected despite their desperate need for a talented wide receiver.
Johnson is expected to compete for the starting running back spot with LenDale White, but will certainly not have the opportunity if he wont sign a contract with the team.
For any rookie to have a legitimate chance at a starting job, its imperative that they report to training camp on time since they are already losing on the experience factor. |
