The Washington Wizards have made good on their promise, re-signing star guard Gilbert Arenas to a six-year contract worth $111 million.
Arenas made good on his promised too, declining the teams offer of over $120 million and re-signing for less because the team brought back veteran forward Antawn Jamison.
The point guard, who has missed much of the past two seasons because of a stubborn knee injury, has spent the offseason relaxing and make sure he is 100 percent healthy.
Arenas believes the team is set to make a run at an NBA title now that they are healthy and developed a chemistry player together for the past several seasons. |
