Detroit Tigers pitcher Dontrelle Willis has been working hard in the minor leagues to re-work his delivery and is optimistic that he will return to the majors come September.
Willis, who signed a big contract with the team after being acquired from the Florida Marlins in the offseason, has acknowledge that it will take some time for him to change his quirk delivery.
The pitcher had a 10.32 ERA and 21 walks in less than 12 innings of work this year.
Willis injured his knee earlier in the year and spent significant time on the disabled list, which cost him valuable time to work on his delivery. |
