The Chicago Cubs have answered the Milwaukee Brewers major trade with a blockbuster of their own, landing Oakland pitchers Rich Harden and Chad Gaudin.

In return, the Cubs sent four prospects back to Oakland, with the most notable being pitcher Sean Gallagher.

Harden has been very injury-prone throughout his career but has managed to stay healthy of late and has been lights out on the mound.

If he is able to stay healthy, this would be a major steal for the Cubs, who would have him under contract through next season.

Gaudin has had a tremendous season out of the bullpen and is the underrated piece of the deal.
