A goal by Jozy Altidore, his first in international play, helped the United State earn a tie with arch-rival Mexico, 2-2.
The United States held a lead twice in the game but was unable to put away Mexico. The U.S. to improve their unbeaten streak at home against Mexico to 10 games.
Head coach Bob Bradley was less than impressed with the effort from his team and was concerned after the game with how much faster Mexico appeared to be than the U.S.
Bradley said he took away a lot of things on which the U.S. can improve upon, most importantly the ability to play at a faster tempo.
