Despite losing to the New York Giants in the Super Bowl, the New England Patriots were greeted by about 200 fans when they arrived back home at Gillette Stadium.
Fans lined up to thank the Patriots for a great season and to remind them that they were proud of their efforts and they should be too.
Head coach Bill Belichick stopped to greet fans, giving some high-fives before eventually pushing away a camerman who ran up to him.
Belichick looked serious for most of his journey through the crowd, clearly still smarting from the loss that cost his team perfection and a place in NFL history. |
