The Maryland Terrapins and their fans were so excited about their chance to beat Georgetown and gain some bragging rights around the area.
So much for those thoughts.
The Terrapins were downright ugly in a 75-48 loss to the rival Hoyas, who spent the afternoon toying with Maryland while securing third place in the Old Spice Classic.
Head coach Gary Williams was clearly frustrated with his teams performance after the game, failing to make his players available to be questioned by the media.
The combination of poor shooting and a lack of rebounding hurt the Terps for the second consecutive game. The Terps now return home to College Park to face Michigan in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. |
