New York Knicks disgruntled guard Stephon Marbury ripped his teammates for criticizing him after he didn’t enter the game despite the team being down to just nine players.
Marbury claims he was never officially asked to enter the game by head coach Mike D’ Antoni and therefore never refused to play.
The guard said he hadn’t opened his mouth once this year despite having not seen any game action.
He even said a teammate was confused why Marbury wasn’t playing, stating that he was perfect for the system they play.
Marbury is set to sit down with general manager Donnie Walsh to discuss a possible buyout that would benefit both sides. |
