The Detroit Lions have signed free agent wide receiver Keary Colbert to a contract.
Colbert will take the place of wideout Mike Furrey, who has been placed on injured reserve after suffering a concussion.
Colbert was drafted by the Carolina Panthers a few years ago but was never able to become an impact player.
He has bounced around the league since then as teams have seen the potential and felt he was worth a look.
Maybe now that Colbert will get some playing time opposite of Calvin Johnson, he can finally show his stuff. |
