Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning has been activated from the physically unable to perform list and is practicing for the first time this season.
Head coach Tony Dungy said Manning will be limited in what he does in practice this week and that they will be very cautious before giving him more reps next week.
Manning will not play in the teams final preseason game but continues to target a return in time for the season opener against the Chicago Bears, which will also be the first game in their new stadium.
The quarterback had surgery to remove an infected bursa sac from his left knee, which was not a football-related injury persay. However, rumors floated around that Manning had a second surgery, that he was seen wearing a knee brace, etc. |
