The Memphis Tigers have reeled in star recruit Tyreke Evans thanks to head coach John Calipari.

Just a day after word leaked out that Calipari had received a new contract from Memphis, Evans named the coach as the reason why he chose to come to the program.

Evans is ranked as the fourth best recruit for 2008.

He has not signed his letter of intent yet, mainly because he wants to make sure Calipari officially signs onto his new deal at Memphis, which he is expected to do.
