Miami Heat head coach Pat Riley is expected to discuss his future with the team’s owner next week.

Riley certainly doesn’t want to be a part of any rebuilding plan, so it’s very possible he will leave the sidelines yet again to take over his job in the front office.

Earlier in the year, Riley had announced he would remain as head coach through at least the 2009-2010 NBA season, which would give him two more seasons.

He has refused to say whether or not that plan has changed.
