Akon to tour with 50 Cent after Gwen Stefani trek

Akon has announced that after he finishes up touring with Gwen Stafani this summer, he plans on teaming up with 50 Cent for a U.S. tour. The singer had a number of hits off of his debut album, "Konvicted,’ including "Smack That,’ "I Wanna Love You.’ He was also featured on Stefani’s hit single "Sweet Escape.’ Dates haven’t been announced for the trek, but it will commence after he gets off the road on June 23^rd.
