Hong Kong promoters cancelled Saturdays Mariah Carey concert due to poor ticket sales and "unreasonable demands" from the singer.
Concerts Asia announced this morning that they would cancel the show, just two days in advance. While they mentioned a problem with "wholly unreasonable" demands, they did not specify what they were.
The promoters said that only 4,000 tickets were sold, even though a major campaign effort was used on the concert.
Careys spokesperson was unavailable for comment on the story. The singer has been touring the globe since the summer to support "The Emancipation of Mimi," her hit album from last year. |
