The Black Eyed Peas dominated the 34th American Music Awards on Tuesday night, taking home three honors for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Band, Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop album, and Favorite Soul/Rhythm and Blues Band.
Rascal Flatts, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mary J. Blige and Kelly Clarkson all took two awards home.
Guest presenter Britney Spears seemed to generate more buzz than the winners; the newly-svelte and single Spears presented Mary J. Blige one of her awards.
Carrie Underwood, Beyonce, The Pussycat Dolls, Barry Manilow, JOhn Mayer, Snoop Dogg with Akon, Lionel Ritchie, Fall Out Boy, Dixie Chicks and Gwen Stefani all presented.
