U2 frontman Bono performed with Pearl Jam on Friday, November 17th right before the G-20 economi meetings in Melbourne, Australia.
The bands protested the meetings, calling for an end to world poverty. The performance was part of the benefit "Make Poverty History," which aims for wealthy countries to forgive the debts of developing nations.
The G-20 was created for representatives from the 20 largest global economies to meet and debate international economic issues.
U2 is currently on a world tour, including two-night stints in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Hawaii. Pearl Jam is not touring, but will open for Bono and the boys in Hawaii.
