Tom Petty announces second leg of tour

Tom Petty has announced the second leg of his tour with The Heartbreakers, which will also feature Trey Anastasio and The Allman Brothers Band at select shows. The new leg begins on June 12^th at the Harbor Center in Portsmouth, VA, with Trey Anastasio, and finishes up on August 18^th at the Tweeter Center in Camden, NJ, with the Allman Brothers Band. Pearl Jam will be perfoming with Petty for three two-night stints at the end of June and beginning of July in St. Paul, MN, the Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI, and Denver, CO. Petty has toured for the past four years with no album to support, but his third solo album, "Highway Companion,’ is due out sometime during the tour, so there will be some new material for fans to enjoy.
