Tom Petty announces final leg of tour

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have announced the final leg of their tour with some new support. The band has extended their trip into early October, and it will include nine stops throughout the country, including three in California. The Strokes, John Mayer and Frank Black will be joining the legends, and Stevie Nicks will continue to travel with the band. The rockers are finishing the first leg of their tour this week, which included stints with Nicks and Trey Anastasio. The second leg starts up in late July, which will include a few more stops with Anastasio, as well as the Allman Brothers Band. Petty’s third solo album, "Highway Companion,’ will be released on July 25^th, at the start of the second leg. The first single, "Saving Grace,’ hit airwaves last month.
