For the next five months, Wiz Khalifa is taking the nation by storm with more than 40 tour dates in support of his latest album, "Rolling Papers." The tour is scheduled to run from April through August in the U.S., with a brief European stint in May.

Currently, the last scheduled U.S. date is Aug. 5 at the Phoenix Amphitheatre in Pontiac, Mich. Additional tour dates include April 28 at the Pier Six Concert Pavilion in Baltimore; May 3 at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, Mass.; June 4 at Philadelphia's Festival Pier with The Roots, Nas and Esperanza Spalding; and June 14 at the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio.

"Rolling Papers" is Wiz Khalifa's first major label-debut, following two independent albums: "Show and Prove" (2006) and "Deal or No Deal" (2009). "Rolling Papers" features the No. 1 song "Black and Yellow," which was made in reference to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cameron Jibril Thomaz, better known as Wiz Khalifa, was born to military parents, which caused him to move frequently as a child. After his parents divorced, Khalifa lived in Germany, England and Japan before finally settling in Pittsburgh.

In 2005, at the age of 18, Khalifa released his first mixed tape, "Prince of the City: Welcome to Pistolvania" followed by his debut studio album, "Show and Prove" in 2006.

In 2007, Khalifa was signed to Warner Brothers Records. He released two mixed tapes, including the No. 1 song "Say Yeah," but ultimately departed from the label in 2009 citing the delays of releasing his studio album.

Under a new record label, Khalifa debuted several singles and collaborations, as well as his second album, "Deal or No Deal." In June 2010, he signed with Atlantic Records to release several more mixed tapes as well as his third studio album, "Rolling Papers."

In November 2010, Khalifa ran in to legal trouble when 60 grams of marijuana was found inside his tour bus. Khalifa was charged with marijuana trafficking, a felony count of maintaining a dwelling/vehicle/place for sale or storage of marijuana and one misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted $300,000 in bail and was later released.
