.....It's Whitney!
Posted October 19, 2009 by jordan
Whitney Houston is back! Yes, you heard me right!
Just for starters, the 46-year-old diva made her first UK TV appearance in 12 years last Saturday with her "Million Dollar Bill" performance. She’s also gearing up for a long-awaited tour:
"This is my first full tour since 1999," Houston said in a press release. " I cannot wait to perform songs from my new album along with favourites."
Her comeback album, titled "I Look to You," is the first release in seven long years. Of course, those have been some very eventful years for Houston, who has been the target of rumors of drug and domestic violence.
U.K., Euro tour shaping up for Whitney

Although there's been no official tour announcement from the Whitney Houston camp, dates have been scheduled in 2010 for the diva's live return in the U.K. and Europe.
It seems Whitney will be spending most of April 2010 in the United Kingdom, with stops in Manchester, Birmingham and London's o2 Arena in England; other dates include Glasgow, Scotland. Her European stops will be largely in May and largely in Germany, most notably in Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart, and Mannheim.
Houston looks to be warming up her golden vocal cords overseas - can a U.S. tour be far behind?
Whitney's TV Comeback Earns Mixed Reviews
Posted September 8, 2009 by michelle
Whitney Houston is on a PR blitz promoting the release of her new album, I Look To You, with TV appearances on Oprah and most recently "Good Morning America."
GMA aired a taped performance of Whitney in NYC's Central Park, but reviews about her mini-comeback are mixed. A large crowd chanted "Whitney, Whitney," while waiting for the singer to appear, but the short show was panned by much of the press in attendance. She flubbed lines, her voice cracked, and she seemingly lost energy toward the end of the set. Granted she's put her body through a great deal of abuse over the last decade, and apparently it showed.
But the fans are happy she's fighting her way back after so many personal and professional struggles. It may take some time, though, before Whitney has regained her full glory. Let's hope she paces herself and gets in shape physically and vocally before embarking on a tour.
New Album to be released Sept. 1!
Posted August 31, 2009 by brittany
Whitney Houston is making a comeback!  She will drop her first album since 2002, "I Look To You," On Tuesday, September 1st.
With musical pro Clive Davis at the helm of the album, and with writers and producers such as Alica Keys, R. Kelly, Diane Warre, Akon and David Foster, the album is sure to have some key hits.
The release has been relatively well-received by critics – it includes bouncy R&B songs like "Million Dollar Bill," the soul-infused "Call You Tonight," a duet with Akon, "Like I Never Left," and "Salute" written by R. Kelly.
Expect a tour!
