Vampire Weekend Tour Update Following three months of overseas touring in support of their second studio album, "Contra," Vampire Weekend is making their way back stateside in August. VW is kicking off their North American tour in Canada on Aug. 27. They play the first U.S. concert on Aug. 29 at the Marymoor Amphitheatre in Redmond, Wash., before finishing up on Oct. 13 at the Fillmore in Miami Beach.

Highlights of the upcoming tour includes stops at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on Sept. 5; the New Orleans House of Blues on Sept. 9; the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md. on Sept. 11; the Radio City Music Hall in New York from Sept. 15-17; and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Sept. 26.

Special guests Beach House, Dum Dum Girls, and The Very Best will rotate as supporting acts for the North American tour.
