Trans-Siberian Orchestra 2011 Tour News

Come experience the tale of Beethoven's last night on Earth with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra this spring. The TSO tour is scheduled to run between April 2 at the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek, Mich. and May 21 at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Along the way, there are also stops at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore on April 15, Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi on April 28, the Selena Auditorium in Corpus Christi, Texas on May 8 and more.
The story begins with Ludwig Von Beethoven slumped over his latest and greatest piece of work the Tenth Symphony. In between the terrible lightning storm and the eerie chiming of the clock at midnight, the demon Mephistopheles comes to collect Beethoven's soul, but the composer has another exchange in mind.
Though TSO is known mainly for their progressive rock Christmas music, Beethoven holds a special place in their heart. In fact, the only non-Christmas album the orchestra has released was 2000's "Beethoven's Last Night."
