The Slip is a contemporary avant-rock trio from Boston, MA. The band consists of brothers Brad Barr (guitar, piano, vocals) and Andrew Barr (drums), and Marc Friedman (bass guitar). The Slip blends rock, pop, avant-garde, americana, and their own rhythmic virtuosic soundscapes to produce music that is described by fans as innovative, eclectic, and unique, yet surprisingly familiar. The three also play with singer-songwriter Nathan Moore (of ThaMuseMeant) in a side project called Surprise Me Mr. Davis.
