The newly formed super group, The Dead Weather, will be touring through Australia and Japan most of March before they play a few dates in the US in April. This band has been busy. Call it chemistry, call it genius, but the collaboration between Alison Mosshart (The Kills), Jack White (The White Stripes), Dean Ferita (Queens of the Stone Age), and Jack Lawrence (The Racounteurs) has been moving quickly into their own brilliance.

The first album, "Horehound", released in January of 2009, was the result of an impromptu jam at White's studio in Nashville, Tennessee. The jam turned into a two-week writing and recording session that was meant to be. "Horehound" made it to #6 on the US Billboard charts and #14 in the UK. Their downloadable singles, "Hassle Night," "Hang You Up From the Heavens" and "Treat Me Like Your Mother" were featured on the video game 'Rock Band.'

They keep writing, and it was confirmed that their next album is on its way this year. White revealed the name of the first new single which is "Blue Blood Blues."
