After steadily touring throughout 2010, Taylor Swift has decided to continue the trend into 2011 by spending February and March performing overseas before she heads stateside in April and tours North America through October.
The North American "Speak Now" tour kicks off with a two-day performance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on April 23-24 and runs through Oct. 8 at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Texas.
Along the way, Swift also has stops at the Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on June 18; the Thompson Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tenn. on July 1; the Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 19-20; the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. on Aug. 2-3; the Staples Center in Los Angeles (again) on Aug. 23, 24, 27 and 28; the General Motors Place in Vancouver, B.C., on Sept. 10-11; and much more.
Her 2011 tour is in support of her third studio album, "Speak Now," which debuted in October 2010.
The 20-year-old singer had a great 2010. Winning four Grammy Awards (Album of the Year, Best Country Album, Best Female Country Performance and Best Country Song), winning the Favorite Country Female Artist at the American Music Awards, winning Favorite Female Artist at the People's Choice Awards and more, plus dating famous actor Jake Gyllenhaal has brought her more spotlights, and fans, than ever before.
