Sugarland Tour News
Posted 3/18/2010
Sugarland is gearing up for seven months of 'The Incredible Machine' tour beginning in April. Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles called 'The Incredible Machine' tour "a thrill," as they're flying solo in North America for the first time.

This year's tour differs drastically from their 2009 tour. In the past, they teamed up with Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney, toured Europe and played in several festivals, including the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Not this time.

"It will reflect our latest writing and surprises to come for the new record, the hits that our fans love, along with the production value that people have come to trust and expect from our live shows. It's a whole, new, rhythmic, emotional, visual, fun, incredible, experience machine," Nettles said. Sugarland's fourth studio album is expected to be released in the summer of 2010.

Though Sugarland's last studio album, "Love on the Inside," was released in 2008, the duo remained busy in 2009 and produced their first live album titled "Live on the Inside."

Their song "It Happens" from "Love on the Inside" was nominated for 'Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals' at the 52nd annual Grammy awards, but the award was taken home by Lady Antebellum.
