Steely Dan Summer 2011 Tour News Steely Dan, the "Jazz-Rock Ambassadors to the Galaxy," are kicking off their North American Shuffle Diplomacy tour on July 2 with the Miles High Big Band and The Embassy Brats.

The 39-city tour runs through Oct. 1 at Boston's Wang Theatre with stops at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga on July 5; the Brady Theater in Tulsa on July 12; the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto on July 22; the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md. on Aug. 2; the Wharf Amphitheatre in Orange Beach, Ala. on Aug. 21 and more!

Steely Dan has several "Special Sets" lined up beginning on July 8-9 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The first night includes the complete Aja album plus hits while the second consists of fan picks. The Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, Ill. on Aug. 12-13 and the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee on Aug. 27-28 will also consist of the same set up.

From Sept. 14-23, Steely Dan will play seven shows at New York's Beacon Theatre with each night featuring a new album. From Sept. 28-Oct. 1, they will wrap up their mega-tour with three shows at the Wang Theatre in Boston: Dawn of the Dan, By Popular Demand and The Royal Scam.
