Following the release of her third studio album Kaleidoscope Heart, Sarah Bareilles will be touring North America through mid-November. The Kaleidoscope Heart tour kicks off at the Roseland Theatre in Portland on Sept. 25 and runs through Nov. 24 at the Knitting Factory Concert House in Reno.

Along the way, Bareilles has several stops like the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles on Sept. 28; the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Oct. 8; Philadelphia's Trocadero on Oct. 16; and the Boston House of Blues on Nov. 9. From Sept. 25 through Oct. 4, her special guests include Javier Dunn and Greg Laswell, while the Cary Brothers and Holly Conlan will join her from Oct. 7 thorough Nov. 9.

As always, Bareilles wrote nearly every song that appears on Kaleidoscope Heart, including the popular singles "King of Anything," "Hold My Heart" and "Uncharted."

Though Sarah Bareilles is now a Grammy Award nominated artist, it didn't always look like she would have a career in the music industry. In high school, she was active in choir and local community theaters, but it wasn't until after her college graduation that she started actively performing her music. After several performances, two demos and one studio album, Bareilles was signed to Epic Records in 2005.

Her first album under the new label came as Careful Confessions, which featured the popular song "Gravity." Following the release of the album, Bareilles was the opening act for Marc Broussard's tour in 2006 and Aqualung and Mika in 2007. Later in 2007, she also appeared on tour with Paolo Nutini and Maroon 5 before traveling with James Blunt for his You Oughta Know tour.

After her single "Love Song" was featured as a free single of the week from iTunes, her new album, Little Voice, shot to No. 1 for the most downloaded albums and No. 45 on the Billboard 200.

Little Voice has been so successful for Bareilles that it was certified Gold by the RIAA in 2008, while "Love Song" was certified 2x platinum. Following Little Voices, she also conducted her first solo tour and later released the DVD of the tour called Between the Lines: Sara Bareilles Live at the Fillmore.

Following various tour and appearances on various television shows, Bareilles hit the studio in mid-2009 to record a followup for her highly successful album. The result is September 2010's Kaleidoscope Heart, which features collaborations with Weezer, Pharrel Williams, and Amir "Questlove" Thompson.

Following her 2010 fall tour through the U.S. and Canada, she heads overseas to tour in England and Germany in February and March.
