Rush Tour Updates and News

The legendary rock band Rush is gearing up for a 40-city "Time Machine" tour, which kicks off on June 29. The band, which is made up of Alex Lifeson, Geddy Lee and Neil Peart, will travel through the U.S. and Canada playing a mix of their most popular songs and some new material from an upcoming album the band is working on. There's no indication on when the next Rush album, which would be their 20th, could be released.
After their 2008 Snakes and Arrows tour, the band took a year off. Now, the "Time Machine" tour is gearing up and the group is getting busy. The tour is scheduled to last until Oct. 2, when the band plays in West Palm Beach, Fla.
"Everything is totally crazy and there's not a minute left in the day," said Lifeson. "We've got these half-dozen songs, and we'll probably go in the studio and work on a couple of them and see how it goes, perhaps release something — and I say perhaps — and then we plan on being on the road."
