Roger Waters 2012 Tour Update
This summer, famed Pink Floyd singer, songwriter and bass player Roger Waters is headlining a North American tour that will take him form coast to coast in continued support of The Wall tour.
The 39-city tour kicks off on May 1 at the Toyota Center in Houston and wraps up on July 14 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. Additional Roger Waters tour dates include May 5 at the Bank of Oklahoma Center in Tulsa, May 11 at the AT&T Park in San Francisco, May 19 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and May 24 at the Key Arena in Seattle.
Roger Waters' Canadian tour dates include May 26 at the BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, May 28-29 at the Rexall Place in Edmonton and May 31-June 1 at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg.
June finds Roger Waters playing all over the country with concerts at Chicago's Wrigley Field on June 8, Philips Arena in Atlanta on June 13, June 19 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena and Albany's Times Union Center on June 28.
The Wall tour continues into the first half of July as Roger Waters performs at Boston's Fenway Park on July 1, Yankee Stadium in Bronx on July 6-7 and the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. on July 12.
Waters helped build "The Wall" in 1979 to describe the growing void between the band and their fans. Though Pink Floyd disbanded for good in 1994, Waters has continued his solo career steadily since then and is celebrating the more than 30 years since The Wall's release with an elaborate visual show including an inflatable wall, high resolution video screens and projectors.
