Stand-up comedian and comic musician Rodney Carrington hits the road for his 2009 tour, which runs from the end of January to May. He'll also be making appearances at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada in July and August.
Carrington's last studio album release was "King of the Mountain" in 2007. He's also featured in the movie "Beer for my horses" with Toby Keith.
Rodney Carrington got his start when he enrolled in theatre classes at Kilgore College from 1988-90. His acting skills allowed him to make guest appearances in shows like "The Bob & Tom Show."
In later years, Carrington became the star of his own show, "Rodney," a show based loosely on Carrington and his escapades in trying to escape his horrible job in Tulsa, Oklahoma to become a comedian. The show ran from 2004-2006.
Total, Rodney has produced six major-label albums of comedy and music whose song titles include "Wife at Garage Sales," "Morning Wood" and "Wal-mart."
Carrington resides in Bixby, Oklahoma with his wife and three children.
