Robin Alan Thicke, American Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, musician, composer and actor, hit the road last year own his own "Something Else" tour after touring with Mary J. Blige on the "Love Soul Tour."
He performed on December 27, 2008 with Eric Benet and Terrence Howard at Constitution Hall, Washington, D.C. Thicke followed this show with performances in the Atlantic Civic Center, Atlanta, GA., on Dec. 28th and wrapped up the year at Club Nokia, Los Angeles, CA, on Dec. 29th.
"Something Else," Thickes latest album, was released on September 30, 2008, and reached No. 3 on The Billboard 200. The album is a joyful and modern tribute to the '70s soul and pop records that have inspired him throughout his career.
In 2005, Thicke won his first Grammy for his work on Ushers "Confessions" (2004). In 2007, he won the VH1 Soul/VIBE Awards "Breakthrough Artist of the Year."
