Popular country music band Rascal Flatts is once again making its way across the country on its newest tour, Rhythm and Roots. Along with special guest Kelsea Ballerini and Chris Lane, they will be heading up the east coast having already made their way across California.
The tour has already begun and runs through September 17. Popular dates include Charlotte (June 17), Phoenix (July 15), Dallas (July 30), Hartford (Aug. 13), Philadelphia (September 8 and 9), and Indianapolis (Sept. 17).
Rascal Flatts has been a household name in country ever since their first album released in 2000. They have repeatedly released hit after hit such as Life is a Highway, Bless the Broken Road, and What Hurts the Most. Each song brings a signature sound and story to it, with What Hurts the Most describing a particularly brutal breakup while Life is a Highway describes the journey the band has been through while also using the open road as an analogy.
Rascal Flatts newest album, Rewind, has also been a success but not without generating a little controversy. The first song on the album, also titled Rewind, was another hit for the band who was looking for a special sound with their most recent album. Unfortunately, the song also got the band in a little bit of hot water when they ended up lip syncing the song at the ACM awards. While this normally wouldn't be a big deal, fans were very upset partially due to a lack of forewarning and partially because country music's particularly negative outlook on the matter. Still fans were quick to forgive the beloved band, due in no small part to the humble and kind attitude they have maintained throughout their career.
