Pink busted onto the scene as a pop tart but slowly evolved into a funky mesh of Rock, punk and pop since her debut in 2001. She has released a successful string of albums, selling over 30 million albums worldwide.
Pink grew Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and got her start in a rock band in high school that eventually disbanded - but not without instilling her with a love of entertaining. After being discovered, while performing in Philadelphia night clubs, she released "Can't Take Me Home" in 2001, which included the massive hits "There You Go," "Most Girls," and "You Make Me Sick."
After touring with Boy Band *NSYNC, Pink's star rose even more, and she covered "Lady Marmalade" with Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim and Mya for the 2001 soundtrack for Moulin Rouge!, which became a massive hit and earned Pink her first Grammy Award.
In 2002, Pink made a conscious effort to change her musical direction and took more creative control in the studio. The result was "Missundaztood," which was co-written and co-produced byh 4 Non Blondes vocalist Linda Perry. Hits from the collection included "Get the Party Started," "Don't Let Me Get Me," and "Just Like a Pill." She collected Grammy Awards in 2003 for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Get the Party Started."
Pink took some time between projects to tour, and in 2007 she released "I'm Not Dead." The album included "U + Ur Hand" and her biggest hit since her debut, "Stupid Girls." She toured in support of the album, including an opening stint for Justin Timberlake's "FutureSex/LoveShow" tour.
In November of 2008, Pink released "Funhouse," after bolstering support from the hit lead-off single "So What." Follow-up singles for the album include "Sober" and "Please Don't Leave Me."
Pink took a chance and move away from the cookie cutter image of the pop industry, and has since enjoyed a successful and diverse career - and, fortunately for her fans, one that always involves shows on the road!

Edgy pop star Pink has added a number of shows to her summer trek, which supports her newest studio album, "Funhouse." The tour, which kicks off in mid-September, will now run through early October, hitting a number of spots in the South, West, and up the Eastern coast.
