The man who named himself 'Owl City' in honor of spending sleepless nights in his parents' basement creating synthpop/althernative dance music, takes his show on the road this year. Starting on January 22 with Oklahoma City, he then dances across Europe and Australia and returns to the U.S. to finish in New York in May.

Young's self-made basement symphonies reached millions. Great minds think alike, meaning, Young's vision and the 6 million who were drawn to the man's MySpace page to listen to his cyber hit, "Hello Seattle" in 2007 led to the Owl's self-promoted mini album entitled "Of June". The album made #20 on the Billboard Electronic Albums chart, which led to a full-length album in 2008, "Maybe I'm Dreaming" that ultimately brought him to the attention of the record label that signed him, Universal Republic.

Last year Owl's "Fireflies" single sold more than 878,000 downloads, and after his invitation to write music scores for the popular TV series, '90210' his virtual fame has become reality.
