News and Information

A new kid has arrived on the summer festival block: Outside Lands Festival will be held August 22nd through August 24th in San Francisco, and is expected to feature Radiohead, Tom Petty and Jack Johnson.


The event will be held at The Golden Gate Park, which includes Polo Field, Speedway Meadow and Lindley Meadow, with four stages scattered about. The event is being put on by Another Planet Entertainment, Superfly Presents and Starr Hill Presents.

Radiohead is making their rounds through the summer festival circuit this year, as is Jack Johnson. Tom Petty is less of a summer touring force than the past few years, so he will be a treat for the festival goers that want more Petty.

The event is expected to bring in about 160,000 guests over three days, which has been scheduled just weeks before the 2nd Annual Treasure Island Music Festival

While little information is available, there is certainly a lot of hype surrounding what could become a premiere California festival.
