Ne-Yo is heading to the United States in February in support of his latest album, "Year of the Gentleman," which was released in September 2008.

"Year of the Gentleman" jumped to No. 2 on the Billboard 200, making it his first album not to debut at No. 1 on the chart. However, it was nominated for six Grammy Awards, including 'album of the year.'

Shaffer Chimere Smith, who you may know better as Ne-Yo, is an American pop and R&B singer-songwriter and actor. Since his debut in 2003, Ne-Yo has had a total of seven top ten songs on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200.

In 2006, Ne-Yo released his debut album "In My Own Words" through Def Jam. Since then, he's released an album a year. His second album, "Because of You" came out in May 2007. The album was certified platinum by RIAA. In December 2007, Ne-Yo performed at a fund raising concert for President-elect Barack Obama.
