Modest Mouse 2010 Tour News Indie rockers Modest Mouse are hitting the road this July for a month-long tour throughout the U.S. before heading off to the U.K. for a number of fall festivals.

The 15-city tour kicks off on July 1 in Broomfield, Colo., and wraps up on July 25 in Boston, Mass. They'll be playing at a number of halls and theaters, as well as Chicago's Pitchfork Music Festival on July 16.

This is the band's first time to tour since their amazing two-year-long tour in support of "We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank," their 2007 studio album. They did release an EP in 2009 with B-sides and previously unheard tracks, which was their first new music in two years. Though there have been no announcements regarding a new album, the band's album "The Moon & Antarctica" was re-released on vinyl on May 1.
