At the age of 3, Miranda's life was forever changed when she was "discovered" by a talent agent while Cosgrove was singing and dancing at a restaurant.
From there, Miranda took on roles in commercials for Mello Yello and McDonalds before getting her first TV gig on the show "Smallville." Her breakthrough, however, wasn't until 2003 when she was cast in the movie "School of Rock."
From there, she was snagged by Nickelodeon for shows like "Drake & Josh" (2004-07) and "iCarly" (2007-present). She's also contributed to the 2010 movie "Despicable Me."
