The Canadian singer grew up under the influence of his grandfathers jazz collection. One of his first recorded albums was a gift to his grandfather - he recorded three independently early-on in his career.

Buble got his big break when Michael McSweeney caught him performing at a business party. As an associate of Canadas Prime Minister, McSweeney helped the young artist to score a performance at the wedding of the leaders daughter. At the wedding, he was introduced to record producer David Foster, known for working with another big Canadian talent, Celine Dion.

Buble was signed to Fosters label and released his self-titled album in 2000. The album included a number of classics, including "Fever," "The Way You Look Tonight" and "Moondance." Buble scored lots of attention for his sound, selling over a million copies in both Europe and Canada.

Buble released "Let it Snow," a holiday collection, and his next studio album was "Its Time." The album included the massive hit "Home," which put Buble on the charts with an original song for the first time.

After Buble performed on American Idol, his popularity in America soared. In 2007, he released "Call Me Irresponsible," which was extremely successful, and included the hit original single "Everything."
