As a young teenager, Thomas Luther "Luke" Bryan was gifted a guitar by his parents. From that moment on, Luke Bryan joined several local bands and began playing in small clubs. After his high school graduation he decided to move to Nashville to solely focus on his music, but the move was delayed by the tragic death of his brother. After deciding to stay near his family in Leesburg, Ga., Luke enrolled in Georgia Southern University.
After graduating college, Luke's dream of moving to Nashville was back on. He moved in September 2001 and landed a gig as a songwriter less than two months later. Throughout the years his passion for music never waned and Luke continued to play in local clubs. While playing in 2007, he was spotted by a recording artist and given his first contract.
Under the Capitol Nashville label, Luke Bryan's discography has included I'll Stay Me (2007), Doin' My Thing (2009) and Tailgated & Tanlines (2011). He's also released several EPs and singles like the popular "All My Friends Say" and "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)."
