Lil' Wayne, who had previously scheduled to wrap up his "I Am Music" tour at the end of August, has agreed to extend the "Young Money Presents: The America's Most Wanted Music Festival" by ten shows.

The tour is now planned to continue throughout September, and includes co-headliners Young Jeezy and Soulja Boy, as well as support from Pleasure P, Jeremih, Nicki Minaj and the Young Money Crew.

In addition to touring news, after numerous delays for his newest album, Rebirth, is scheduled for release on September 8, just days after the end of the extended tour. The album's rock-inspired first single, "Prom Queen," peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the second single, "Hot Revolver," which was released on March 17, made it up to No. 33 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Lil Wayne has become increasingly popular since "Tha Carter III," which was released in June. "Tha Carter III" features Lil Waynes hit song "Lollipop." "Lollipop" topped the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 1, and it became a Top 10 single. The album sold more than a million copies in its first week after release.
