Lenny Kravitz 2012 Tour News Don't blink or you'll miss the American tour dates for Lenny Kravitz, who, along with special guest Raphael Saadiq, hits the road in select cities January and February supporting his most recent release, Black and White America.

This whirlwind outing takes Kravitz to Boston, New York, Chicago, Phoenix, Biloxi, Dallas and Miami Beach, along with a few other stops in between. It's an eclectic mix of cities, but they seemingly speak to the themes embraced by his new album- a wide range of musical and cultural influences, both urban and rural.

Black and White America was recorded in Paris and the Bahamas over a two-year period. It addresses themes of race and integration, both personal to Kravitz who is biracial himself, born to a black mother and white father in 1960s New York during the time of the civil rights movement.

When not working on his music, Kravitz can soon be seen on the silver screen. He plays the role of Cinna, the designer for Katniss Everdeen, in the upcoming movie adaptation of the hugely successful book The Hunger Games.
