Kevin Hart's Seriously Funny Tour is sweeping the U.S. from now through the end of the year! Hart's stand-up tour is in support of "Seriously Funny," one of Comedy Central's top rated programs in 2010, which has since been released on DVD. When he's not acting in movies or recording specials for Comedy Central, Hart can be found at theaters all across the country bringing fans his own brand of funny.
The Seriously Funny tour kicked off on Aug. 19 at the Ontario Improv and is scheduled to run steadily through Nov. 20 at Chrysler Hall in Norfolk, Va. He's also got a gig scheduled on Dec. 31 at The Chicago Theatre to ring in the New Year! Along the way, Hart also has stops at the Las Vegas Mirage from oct. 8-9; Baltimore's Meyerhoff Symphony Hall on Oct. 16; Washington, D.C.'s DAR Constitution Hall on Nov. 5 and more!
Kevin Hart was just a little man (5'4") with big plans when he quit his job selling shoes and dove head first into comedy. Little did he know he would one day star in popular films like "Death at a Funeral," "Along Came Polly" and "The 40 Year Old Virgin."
Hart was instantly hooked on stand-up after performing on an amateur night at a comedy club in his hometown of Philadelphia. After winning a few comedy contests, he turned to comedy full time and started performing at places like Stand-Up NY, The Boston Comedy Club and The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. It wasn't until he was noticed at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival that he was given the opportunity to move forward in films and on Comedy Central.
His first acting gig was 2001's "North Hollywood," a television show starring Judd Apatow. From there, he acted in a handful of other shows until making it on the big screen for "Scary Movie 3" in 2003. Since then, he's also starred in "Along Came Polly" (2004); "The 40 Year Old Virgin" (2005); "Meet Dave" (2008); "Death at a Funeral" (2010) and more.
Kevin Hart is already working on two films for 2011, "Let's Go" and "35 and Ticking."
A comedian at heart, Kevin has starred in two Comedy Central specials: 2009's "I'm A Grown Little Man" and 2010's "Kevin Hart: Seriously Funny."
