Singer/songwriter Kenny Loggins admits he goes way back with Winnie the Pooh. Loggins' long awaited album, "All Join In" has finally been released. He describes it as an "upbeat tasty gumbo" of old classic lullabies and soft rock, created with the intention of bringing families closer together. As he weaves back and forth through the Southern and Western states of America, families will be delighted that they can offer their children some of the best lullabies on tap.

Loggins will embark on a 14-city tour this year starting on April 6th in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He will play in Austin, Texas, on April 7th and Biloxi, Miss., on the 9th. Loggins appears at the Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore, Md., on May 15th and then heads to the mid-west for more shows before the tour wraps up in Brooks, Calif., on August 21st.

Not every songwriter can build a career around his love and appreciation for a stuffed bear. Kenny Loggins, a man of sensitivity and creativity, has made Winnie his mascot for decades and given families the gift of music that everyone can enjoy. "When I made my first record for kids, a lot of people around me were worried," say Loggins. "They thought that I'd loose all my rock & roll credibility."

"Return to Pooh Corner" (1994) was his first children's album, which included the hit single, "House on Pooh Corner." In 2000 he released, "More Songs from Pooh" with a host of musical collaborators that included his own five children.

"All Join In" is meant for parents to enjoy with their kids. "I feel like this music can really connect with a lot of people of different ages," he says, and adds, "I think that you'd be hard pressed to find another children's record with this kind of vibe."

Loggin's has enjoyed a career spanning four decades. Born in Everett, Washington, in 1948, and grew up in Alhambra, California. His work with Jim Messina is perhaps what he is known for most. The duo had several hits together, including "Danny's Song" and "Your Mama Don't Dance."

Loggins embarked on his solo career in 1977. His first solo album, "Celebrate Me Home" included the hit, "I Believe in Love" originally sung by Barbara Steisand in the movie, "A Star Is Born."

Loggin's started to pair up with Michael McDonald of The Doobie Brothers in the early 80's. "What a Fool Believes," written by Loggins and recorded by The Doobie Brothers went to #1 on the pop charts almost immediately. The two also received a Grammy for "Song of the Year" in 1980.
Loggin's continued to create hits after that, most of them acclaimed movie soundtracks: "Footloose" and "I'm Free (Heaven Helps the Man)", from the movie "Footloose," were two favorites.

In 1991 Loggins' album, "Leap of Faith", with the single, "Conviction of the Heart" was billed as "the unofficial anthem of the environmental movement" by former Vice President Al Gore. On Earth Day in 1995, Loggins performed it on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., for a live audience of 500,000.

Loggins has had two marriages. His first marriage to Eva Ein from 1978-1990 produced three children. The oldest, Crosby Loggins, is a songwriter in his own right, and he won the 2008 MTV reality show Rock the Cradle with his album, "We All Go Home." Loggins second marriage to Julia Cooper in 1992 ended in divorce in 2004. They couple wrote a book together called, "The Unimaginable Life" about their relationship. Loggins also did an album with the same title.
