Keith Urban's 'Escape Together World Tour' is kicking off in Georgia in March and lasts all the way through late August spanning 58 cities in North America.

The tour is in support of his sixth studio album, "Defying Gravity," which is set for release on March 31, 2009. The album's first single, "Sweet Thing," already jumped to No. 8 on Billboard's country chart.

"Defying Gravity comes from the lyrics of a song on the album, and it just struck me at the time as a phrase that really defined the joyous, optimistic and uplifting spirit that seemed to show itself while making the album," Urban said.

One supporting act? Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band, Dierks Bentley or Glen Campbell?will appear at each show.

Keith Urban has bared his soul with country songs that have found him attention with mainstream fans as well. The singer is one of the many young country stars that have been crossing over honky-tonk lines, reeling in fans of all genres with his catchy songs and heartfelt lyrics.

Urban, raised in Australia, found success with Golden Road" in 2002, after ten unsuccessful years in the industry. The hit single Somebody Like You" helped him to score a spot on the Brooks & Dunn and Kenny Chesney tour, the hottest act in town that summer.
