Keith Sweat wears many hats in the R&B industry, and he wears them well. The singer has been on the scene since the late 1980s, and he has made quite a name for himself as a singer, songwriter and producer.

Sweat was discovered when he was working in the commodities market in the New York Mercantile Exchange. After joining the Harlem band "Jamilah,” he scored a record contract and released "Make it Last Forever” in 1987. The album included two hits, the title track and "I Want Her.” His sophomore effort, "Ill Give All My Love to You” was also a success.

Two of Sweats biggest hits, "Twisted” and "Nobody” came off of his firth album, "Keith Sweat” in 1996. This was the pinnacle of commercial success for Sweat. After the release, he put out a number of albums, and is continuing to record - he released "A Christmas of Love” in November.

In addition to his solo success, Sweat formed the R&B supergroup LSG with Gerald Levert and Johnny Gill. Their debut album, "Levert.Sweat.Gill” was released in 1997 and was certified platinum twice, propelled there by the popularity of the single "My Body.”

Sweat also produced for a number or artists, including Dru Hill, Immature, Guy, The Isley brothers, The OJays and Keyshia Cole. He has had a very active role in the latters news album, "Just Like You,” which includes a number of hits.

Sweat has also added radio host to his list of expertise - he launched the Keith Sweat Hotel from Premiere Radio Networks in Atlanta.
