Kaddisfly is an American band that has been dubbed progressive, post-hardcore, experimental and alternative which began in Eugene, Oregon. The band is currently signed to Hopeless Records. They formed in 2000, taking their name from a small moth-like insect, the Caddisfly. Their lyrics are mostly about altruism, natural settings, and the power of the human spirit, an unusual trait among bands on the modern rock scene. Kaddisfly is a very active band when it comes to touring, and has been doing so almost non-stop for the past few years. They have embarked on multiple nation wide tours. In Feb/March they will be opening each show on the 2007 Take Action Tour.
