Of all boy band members from years past, Justin Timberlake is the one that has taken a brief time in the spotlight and turned it into massive success with staying power that will be around for decades to come.

Timberlake started his career on Disneys Mickey Mouse Club in the early '90s, and became a member of *NSYNC later in the decade. The band released a self-titled debut in 1998 and blasted onto the music scene with "I Want You Back" and "Tearing Up My Heart." Young girls and moms alike became smitten with the group of boys, including Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone. The next album, "No Strings Attached" was even more successful than the first. It included the massive singles "Bye Bye Bye and "This I Promise You."

After the release of "Celebrity," the bands third album, Timberlake started to record on his own. He released 'Justified" in 2002. The album was the first solo album from a boy band-er to see real commercial success. The collection included the hits "Like I Love You," "Cry Me a River" and "Senorita." Timberlake continued his rise to fame with an appearance on the Blacke Eyed Peas hit "Where is the Love?," which put the urban group on the map. He was also involved with the notorious "wardrobe malfunction" at the Super Bowl XXVII halftime show with Janet Jackson.

Timberlake bounced back from the controversy and after a taking a long break to explore acting opportunities, he released 'FutureSex/LoveSounds" in 2006. The album has been extremely popular, and it ushered in the dominance of Timbaland as a production force, along with Nelly Furtados "Loose." The three teamed up for the massively popular single "Give it to Me," which is found on Timbalands album, "Timbaland Presents: Shock Value."

Timberlake has grown into a mature artist in front of his throngs of fans, and few seem to love him any less now that he has shed his squeaky-clean image. He is replacing it with more compelling beats and performances, and multiplying his fan base to proportions few ever expected.

Timberlake snags another Emmy
Posted October 6, 2009 by brittany
Justin Timberlake has made a lot of "firsts" in his career, mostly based upon album and ticket sales ? however, he can now add "first SNL host to nab an Emmy Award" to that illustrious list.
The six-time Grammy winner added a second Emmy to his mangle when he took home a trophy for best guest actor in a comedy series for hosting Saturday Night Live.? While this is the first time the award was offered to SNL hosts, he was the only one of 20 over the past season to be nominated.
The pop star was up against comedy greats such as Beau Bridges for his work on Desperate Housewives, and Steve Martin and Jon Hamm for guest starring on 30 Rock.
